these days you might find a surprising new perspective on the national monument “Elevador da Bica” in lisbon. the portuguese artist Alexandre Farto changed the skin of the elevador to a mirroring surface and now the cabin blends into the environment. a nice play with the center of the touristic attention and the object of many snapshots.

we do like the art in public space concept in general and we would like to see more of this kind in lisbon. the whole project consists of four artists who developed artistic interventions for four “elevadores” -  you may find more information in portuguese on this website http://www.carris.pt/pt/noticias/2010/carris-arte-em-movimento/

a whole range of new fudge products arrived at wip-hairport this week. ask the stylists about them and try them out. once again, the australian company developed wonderful products for a good price. our special tip: try the salt spray!

During the august heat around noon at the bica village two girls were seen carrying frightening weapons … mothers hide their kids at home and even the dogs stop barking.

everybody knows that “néria the kid” and “calamity inês” are not in the village to entertain.

jezz's client happy after the haircut

jezz and her magic scissors did another innovative masterpiece: her regular customer who works in a quite conservative or at least classic environment, wanted a new, excentric cut. she wants to grow her hair but she also wants something fresh and outgoing. what a challenge for jezz.

since there was a lot of volume to cut off, jezz suggested to cut out a few waves and leave the hair on top long and even, like a curtain. the concept worked out nicely and her client now has two haircuts in one
