since both of them did a great job, we could not let them return to austria without some proper haircut (you will hear more about their work soon). sabine and jezz gave them a lesson in contemporary lisbon hairdressing and they enjoyed it.

Frederico likes to pull off different styles and Néria likes to surprise him with new looks. He usually leaves us with a cut design or a paintbrush which stays only for the weekend.
He likes to relax during the haircuts to prepare himself for his next gig on the drums.
Frederico is one of our favorite open minded youngster! Stay like that!

since the sun is out for more than a week now and the temperatures are rising we decided it’s springtime in lisbon. one afternoon was mostly dedicated to restyle ourselfs and get some color in our hair – it was fun obviously!

The most of our new customers usually have either friends or relatives that are already our customers, which is exactly the case of this particular customer. Her sister comes to Hairport for quite some time now and she has decided to give us a try. Irina was the chosen stylist. As usual, both sat down and discussed what to do. Apparently the customer always had short hair and decided to let it grow for the first time. Irina explained to her that a medium size haircut would suit her better and the customer was very pleased with the end result.

quite often our new clients at wip-hairport tell us, that they choose us to do a real change on their hairstyle. they want something new, fresh and different. this time our client chose birgit, one of our german girls, for the restyle!

The client wanted to go for a short haircut. birgit decided to lift the heavyweight hair curtain and show her beautiful face and neck. in the end irregular fringe and short curls would leave a flamelike sparkling hairdo and create a soft silhouette.

birgit has cut the most of her hair and left her with a light and easy to style *smart* haircut. obviously she likes her new look and we think she looks fabulous now.

Why do you think that around 85  – 90% of all pictured haircuts are female? Can anyone explain us why haircuts and hairstyles of men are not a topic in most of the blogs and websites about hair? This post is dedicated to our male clients who walk the streets of lisbon with quite unique haircuts. We have about 40% male clients. Some of them change their hairstyle frequently and like to experiment with new excentric cuts and colors. Coming up next: some of our friends on this blog and their different hairstyles….

This is about our charming receptionist Tânia. she’s a very friendly and caring person who always tries to keep the balance in any group. Tânia is a translator in various meanings: not only is she fluent in portuguese, german and english, she also connects people and makes them understand each other.

Her unique outfits and her styling do show another Tânia to the people who don’t know her. Sometimes she really likes to create the image of a fighter.  Even though she practiced martial arts for quite some years, we consider her the most peaceful person ever.

She’s the multilingual voice to our costumers, the favourite model of our stylists and a well known figure in the lisbon nightlife.
